The Butterfly Dream

This game was built to showcase range of new inputs and interactive elements including haptic feedback, head motion control, hand tracking, and eye-tracking. The premise of this experience is to take the player on a guided yet interactive journey through a fantasy world and along the way capture snapshots of creatures encountered. Eye-tracking was used to create a glasses-free 3D experience that pulls in the player and immerses them into the world. We included head motion control as a form of camera rotation and navigation as the user is guided through the world. Hand tracking was added to provide natural interaction and a deeper sense of presence and immersion. Finally, using the Ultrahaptics, mid-air haptic device, we further enhanced the experience by providing physical feedback when taking pictures and interacting with digital objects. -Content/IP Ownership of Dimenco
